The Republican primary for the Indiana Senate seat is getting heated. It comes as no surprise to us that since the Club's PAC announced its endorsement of the economic conservative Richard Mourdock last week, that Richard Lugar's campaign has gone on the attack. Lugar's campaign knows that the Club PAC's endorsement has the power to be a game changer in this race.

Dear ----, The Republican primary for the Indiana Senate seat is getting heated. The Club's PAC doesn't endorse a candidate unless: 1) that candidate is a true economic conservative, 2) that candidate has a real shot at winning, and 3) we are prepared to go all in on behalf of that candidate. And we are absolutely prepared to go all in on behalf of Indiana State Treasurer, Richard Mourdock. Mourdock has pledged to fight for a balanced budget, the end of earmarks, the repeal of ObamaCare, and to bring back the economic prosperity that has been lost due to Obama's failed economic policies. But the Club's members are what make the Club's PAC so powerful. You are the reason we are able to take on - and win - tough races. And that is why we need all Club members to go all in for Richard Mourdock by making an immediate and generous contribution of up to $5,000 to Richard Mourdock for Senate TODAY. Senator Lugar's campaign should be scared. They should know that good economic conservatives like us aren't going to sit back and let a career politician with a voting record like Lugar's serve another term in the United States Senate. During Richard Lugar's thirty-five years in the Senate, he has voted FOR: The New York City Bailout A Gasoline Tax Increase A Social Security Tax Increase The Bush "Read My Lips" Tax Hike Cap and Trade The Bridge to Nowhere A Minimum Wage Increase The Freddie-Fannie Bailout TARP The Auto Bailout The Debt Limit Increase And just as damaging as the bailouts, tax increases, and radical expansion of government he voted in favor of, are the lower tax, pro-economic growth bills he voted against. During Richard Lugar's thirty-five years in the Senate, he has voted AGAINST: A 10% Cut in the Federal Budget A $195.5 Billion Income Tax Cut A Work Requirement for all Welfare Recipients Senator Pat Toomey's Earmark Ban Amendment The Club PAC's endorsement in a race is a game changer and the Lugar campaign knows it. Lugar has come out swinging at Mourdock. And with the "establishment" on his side, Lugar's campaign will have the resources necessary to penetrate the Indiana media market with these negative ads. That means that we are counting on Club members to step up to the plate and give Richard Mourdock's campaign the resources it needs to respond to these unjust attacks, expose Lugar for the RINO that he is, and help spread Mourdock's low tax, small government, pro-growth message to the voters of Indiana. We are counting on you to make the most generous contribution you can of up to $5,000 to Richard Mourdock for Senate immediately. With the primary date set for May 8th I cannot stress enough the urgency of this request. What our country needs now, more than ever, is genuine fiscal restraint and economic growth. Richard Lugar has time and again voted to expand the size of government, raise taxes, and increase government regulation. He is not the answer; he is part of the problem.
