Why do we tolerate fractional reserve banking?
Its crazy. Banks are allowed to invent money? Banks should only be able to lend out the money that is deposited in them. In our curretn ssytem they can ledn out many times more "money" which is simply created out of thin air. Is it any wonder that we have problems? If I borrowed 100$ from you and then photcopied it 20 times adn started using the money...what would happen. Banks do it every day. The fed does it to the tune of 3trillion dollars some months.....then hands that money to the banks to photcopy all over. This is very basic and is happening. I say end fractional reserve banking and end the fed. The fed can only hurt the citizens fo the usa.
