freebsd audio

< vwbusguy> republican_devil, kldload snd_hda should bring your sound card up
< vwbusguy> republican_devil, you can either add that to your loader.conf: (snd_hda_load="YES")

add hw.snd.default_unit=1 to /etc/sysctl.conf and run /etc/rc.d/sysctl restart
make sure speakers plugged in
set smplayer to oss in prefs
no need to load oss package
